Intercultural Communication Training Resources

 

The Community Services Center, in Taipei, Taiwan offers professional intercultural training, newcomer orientation, and other services for the international and local communities in Taipei.

 

The Intercultural Management Institute (IMI) at American University in Washington, DC, is headed by one of the world's leading interculturalists, Gary R. Weaver, Ph.D. IMI provides professional intercultural training for worldwide assignments. This organization is the modern face of the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), one of the first organizations to extensively provide professional intercultural training services to major organizations in the United States.

 

 

The Handbook of Intercultural Training, 3rd ed., edited by Dan Landis, Janet Bennett, & Milton Bennett (2004). Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage. This is one of the most useful resources on Intercultural Training in existence, with an amazing list of contributors. Available through amazon.com here:

The Handbook of Intercultural Training, 2nd ed., edited by Dan Landis & Rabi Bhagat (1996). Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage. This is the previous edition.
